No period after baby

i had a baby over a year ago and I haven't gotten my period in any consistent way since then. i'm not nursing anymore and i'm not on birth control. anyone know what the deal is?

you don't tell us if you were nursing or were on birth control. sometimes either one of those things can make your period delayed

I'm assuming that you are relatively young since you just had a baby. you could be going through early menopause, but it's more likely that your system needs a kick start or something. go to the doctor to see what's going on

could be a cyst or something like that. certainly you need to have it checked out by a doctor. doesn't sound right to me.

i'd be happy too! but...then when it came time to want to have another kid - i'd be worried. better to find out now and deal with the issue than to be stuck not being able to get preg later if you wanted to
