They hide or can become hidden. Ultrasounds are also only as good as the person using them. My uterus was sitting backwards for most of my life and after surgery discovered this, I had several ultrasound persons tell me "Who told you that, it is fine." At one point my uterus sat on top of my ovaries and they couldn't see them with an abdominal or internal ultrasound. |

Thank you waterwoman! I appreciate the insight! I will probably ask for another one just to be sure. I'm having a lot of pain due to the cysts that are there and I don't want to have it removed. |

Oops, I meant to say that I am having the pain in the ovary that they can see. |
