I was diagnosed with a yeast infection and prescribed Diflucan one pill once every three days. Two days into treatment my discharge changed from thick and milky to watery and milky.

Has anyone ever taken this? Is this suppose to happen on this medication? (ie like the yeast coming out or something?)

I have yeast infections quite frequently and depending on how severe your infection is, will depend on how it is healing. The diflucan works great usually, but it seems like the dr would have told you to take one daily. it seems like that the yeast is getting out of your system. do you feel better? i would call my doctor and ask to be sure though.

I used to get yeast infections once a month & was given sporonox-2 a day, once a month. It worked great but my pharmacist said continued use would lead to liver complications which i couldnt risk. I now take probiotics which are all natural with no known side effects. Besides clearing my yeast infections, they have many other benefits. They work wonders...try them, you wont regret it!
