I am very confused. I have been diagnosed with Severe Cervical Dysplasia, and yet all my STD tests and my HPV test came back negative. From everything I have read, its caused by std's...so why would I get cervical dysplasia if none of my tests are positive?

aside from sexual intercourse with multiple partners, cigarette smoking may also increase the risk of having cervical dysplasia.
