Hello, I am wondering if anyone can give me some advice about a lump that recently appeared on my labia majora. At first it was irritating and too small for my partner to even see. He thought I was refering to a stretch mark that I got during pregnancy. It has now become large enough for him to see and it is purplish in color like a bruise. As I was reading to try and find out what this could be, I came across a cancer site. I am now a little worried that it may be vulvar cancer. I don't believe that I have any risk factors for this other than the fact that I am overweight. I have only had one sexual partner in my life and have been in the same relationship for 13 years now. I have never had any type of STD or HPV, although my sister did have cervical cancer. This lump is very irritating and painful to touch. It is located toward the back and off to the side. Could this be cancer or maybe a hemoroid, blood blister, boil, or something? I don't think it is any obstructed glands because it seems to be more to the outside rather than the inside. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
