Hello.
I am 19 years old and have not had my period in 7 months. I have never been on the pill and up until 7 months ago my period was good and naturally came each month.
I have seen a gyrnacologist and had an ultra sound and he says i have a mild case of PCOS. I only suffer from the sympton which is absence of period not excess hair growth etc..
He says i should start to take Yasminella, the pill so i will bleed every 28 days. I was wondering if the fact I have a BMI score of 18, which indicates i am underweight and i exercise nearly every day is playing a part in me not getting my period or my absence of my period. Is it possible if i decrease my exercise and increase my weight (i currently weight 51.5 kg) i can regain my period naturally?? What would you recommend I do??
Thanks for your help.
