Can an accurate culture be taken while on creams?

Had a Yeast infection culture taken. Can a accurate culture be taken while the patient is on an ovc internal vaginal cream. Clotrmazole. Would the culture show wrong results? thanks in advance.

it will lessen the possibility to get a yeast growth when you are on clotrimazole as it kills fungus. consult to your gynecologist to make sure you are doing the right thing.

i think it's ok when your yeast infection doesn't have any improvements even taking clotrimazole.
