pregnant on pill

my friend just discovered that she's pregnant while taking the pill. She's two months pregnant already and she's been taking the pill everyday - is this a danger to the baby?

she should obviously stop taking it immediately (not like it worked for her anyway - lol!) and go to the doctor. I'm sure she's not the first person this has happened to and I assume everything will be ok - but get it checked out

at some pt you might want to suggest to her that she evaluate how she was taking the pill - looks like she was doing something wrong! or she may want a new type of pill or other bc in the future - not the topic here, i know...but important to talk about for the future

like yeah, get off the pill and see the doctor for sure. i know a couple of people who got preggo on the pill so i don't think it is the way they use it. maybe it just needs to be stronger. but its too late for that anyway.
