Hi, I am new here and am looking for anyone else who might had these symptoms or suggestions we could check out. About a 6 months ago my daughter (13) was diagnosed with Giggle Syndrome since she seemed to lose control of her bladder muscles when she laughed. So, we tried Miralax which seemed to help a little. She started having accidents about everyday and she was put on ditrophan. It worked for a short time but than quit working. She started having accidents everyday and not just when she laughed but at anytime. She also wet the bed a couple of times which led to another problem last week. She had what appeared to be a bladder infection with no fever. She was put on Bactrim which made the symptoms go away. However, the culture came back negative. On the microscopy they found blood and a few white blood cells. She had pain at school today in her lower abdomen after she went to the bathroom. She also had dizziness a couple of days this week and often has pain in her legs. The doctor will be back next week but she says that we will need to wait to see Mayo to get answers. So, I am asking anyone out there if they have come across anything like this before? We have an appt.. at Mayo on January 25.
