what causes lacerations after medical exam for possible abuse in `12 year child. There was no intercourse or objects used, so as this was proven. There was infection but immediately treated with antibiotic. Menstral during exam. Suspected abuse in November 2012, exam performed April 2, 2013. Would there still be lacerations from this time apart? So many diagnosis in this case
