My daughter who is 36 just received her first mammogram. She recently found a lump and after the mammo has been requested to come back for an ultrasound. Her doctors office then called and wants to see her before her ultrasound. Her blood tests are normal. Why would the doctor want to see her before the ultrasound? I have had 8 lumps removed myself but all were benign. She is now worried because the doctor wants to see her before the ultrasound. Can you please enlighten me? Thank you
