Hi. I have had constant vaginal pain for about 4 months now. It is concentrated to the right side vaginal opening, but sometimes the skin on the left side of my vulva (outer vagina) hurts as well. Sometimes there is pain shooting down my right leg, in my right knee and right foot. Recently, I have had pain on the right inner side of my anus as well. The pain is usually a stabbing pain, although its sometimes feels sore and raw. I went to my obgyn and she did not seem concerned, said that pain is common and she sees no sores or cysts and I shouldn't be worried. I'm 22 years old, generally healthy but have tested positive for lupus. I'm getting a herpes test, even though my doctor felt it is unnecessary. Please advise!
