I am 22 years old and for the past 4 months my breasts have gone from a C to a DD!
I am NOT on the pill and haven't been since I was 17 years old (for only 5 months).
I have always been a normal, proportional size. 5'2", 128lbs.
I have always been a big C but since my boobs were practically spilling out of my bra I went to get measured and they told me I was a DD! From a side profile they don't stick out far like I would think a DD breast would...but they are wide (meaning they go high up my chest and expand into my underarms, if that makes sense.)
I am absolutely not pregnant (and never have been) and I am actually on my period right now. But it makes no difference in size whether I am menstruating or not. In fact, 4 out of the 5 weeks of my menstrual cycle, my boobs are in a lot of pain. My nipples are so sensitive to the touch and I can not run without 3 sports bras on.
It just doesn't make sense to me. I'm 22 so I am not going through puberty, I am not on the pill and I am not pregnant.
And it is so noticeable that people at work are speculating that they are implants. They're not!
I asked my doctor about it and he said to stay away from caffein, nicotine and chocolate. NONE of which I use excessively, if ever! The only thing that has changed for me in the past year is that i take Ritalin. Could that possible be why my boobs have increased so much?
I'm just looking for an explanation.

my sister is 19 and she wears a cup E now.. She has difficulties to find a suitable bra that can support her breast. Yes, it is very sensitive to the nipple. it could be genetic i'll say.. nothing much can be done but breast reduction is an alternatives if you feel your breast is causing you much pain or problems.. and as for the people who says those were inplants, they are just jealous!! =D
