Ok, so after 4 babies you would thonk I would be well versed in period issues but, I am 13 months postpartum with baby 4 and my period lasted about 5 days. Heavy which I expected, no cramps, nothing unusual being the first one back. About 4 days after ending I have started having pink mucous discharge and today is has been bright red. Not a lot, but enough for a pantyliner just in case. My question is, is this residual bleeding because its been so long and my regular period just didn't shed everything or is this just my period trying to get back on track? I've just started weaning and exclusive nd for about7 months. Any ideas?
