In 2004 I had a transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound due to rlq pain. Both revealed no uterine or ovarian cysts. In march this year, i went to the er with unbearable pain-same area. My uterus is almost twice its size from 2004 and revealed "at least" 10 fibroid cysts. I am 39-pregnant once in my life and my dr wants suggests a myomectomy-he will have to surgical remove by c-section method and I am scared, nervous and uncertain if this is the right thing to do. I do want to have children-particularly since I am going on 40. Any thoughts from those who have experienced this?
